The 121st annual Anglesey Show will be held on August 12th and 13th 2008 at the 160 acre Anglesey showground.
Anglesey Show is a very popular affiliated county horse and livestock show in Anglesey, north Wales, including equestrian events, top class show jumping, ridden and in-hand horse and pony showing classes, side saddle classes and carriage driving classes, in Anglesey, north Wales.
Anglesey Show is visited annually by over 59,000 people. Equestrian events include in-hand shire horse classes and shire horse teams, carriage driving and private driving classes, and over 300 light horse classes including ridden and in-hand classes for coloured horses and ponies, appaloosas, arabs, hunters, hacks, shetland ponies, arabian horses, cobs, welsh breeds and welsh part-breds, and side saddle classes.
Other main ring attractions include an international gundog trial, livestock classes, produce and craft marquees, falconry displays and ferret racing demonstrations.

The 2008 Royal Welsh show will be held at the Royal Welsh Showground, Llanelwedd, Builth Wells, mid Wales from 21st - 24th July.
In 2007, the main attractions included Bolddogs Lings Freestyle Motorcycle Display Team, the equestrian display of the Cossacks from the Ukraine, Jean Francois Pignon, the Shetland Pony Grand National, John Parker Carriage Driving, the Royal Welsh Mounted Games featuring the Invitation World Team Championships, the Inter Hunt Team Relay, a Parade of Hounds, Pony Club Mounted Games, and trotting races.
Other annual attractions include livestock, the top show horses of all breeds and types, horticulture, forestry, country pursuits, the food hall, sheep shearing, sheep dog trials, produce and handicrafts, farriery and ornamental ironwork, and vintage machinery.
This is the largest and best known annual agricultural show in Wales, held at Llanelwedd, Builth Wells, mid Wales. Featuring affiliated horse showing classes, show jumping and equestrian events, with ridden classes for all breeds and types of horses from hacks to hunters and children's ponies, and in-hand classes for horses and ponies, the Welsh Cobs shown in the main arena are a particular favourite at the Royal Welsh, especially the Welsh Cob stallions shown in-hand on Wednesday.
