The Aberystwyth and Ceredigion County Show is one of the premier horse shows and equestrian events in Ceredigion, west Wales. Horse and pony showing classes are held for all breeds and types, including affiliated classes for ridden horses and ponies, in-hand showing classes for all breeds and types, including Welsh ponies section A, B and C, and Welsh Cobs section D. There are also classes for heavy horses.

The 121st annual Anglesey Show will be held on August 12th and 13th 2008 at the 160 acre Anglesey showground.

Anglesey Show is a very popular affiliated county horse and livestock show in Anglesey, north Wales, including equestrian events, top class show jumping, ridden and in-hand horse and pony showing classes, side saddle classes and carriage driving classes, in Anglesey, north Wales.

Anglesey Show is visited annually by over 59,000 people. The Babell Show equestrian event will be held on 25th August 2008 at the Rhuallt showground, near St Asaph, Clwyd, north Wales. An affiliated horse show held in north Wales. All welcome.

This horse show, run by the Muleberry Showing Club, includes classes for adults and children and for horses and ponies of all types and sizes, including in-hand and ridden horse and pony showing classes, classes for welsh ponies (section A, B and C) and welsh cobs (section D) shown in-hand and ridden, and carriage driving classes.

Showing awards include the Welsh Pony and Cob Society (WPCS) bronze medal, and a performance medal.

The Babell Horse Show is affiliated to the Shetland Pony Society and CHAPS (UK). It is also a qualifying show for the Royal London Show.

Entry fees: Welsh ponies and cobs, welsh part breds and performance classes - £5 before August 1st.

Polocrosse is a team game played on horseback by two teams of 6 players. Each player carries a wooden stick with a net at the end. The polocrosse ball is carried and thrown between team members, who catch the ball using the net.

Gower Agricultural Show, Gower, near Swansea, south west Wales

The Gower Agricultural  and Horse Show will be held on Sunday 3rd August 2008 at Penrice Castle Park, Reynoldston, Gower, south west Wales.

The Gower Horse Show is affiliated to the Wales and Borders Association, the Welsh Pony and Cob Society (WPCS), the British Skewbald and Piebald Association (BSPA), the British Show Horse Association, and the Shetland Pony Society, and features qualifiers to championship shows, the Amateur Showing Society, and to the Royal International Horse Show.
