Eventing is the ultimate test of horse and rider. It consists of three phases: dressage, show jumping and cross country. Affiliated classes, from the lowest level up, are: Intro, Pre-Novice, Novice, Intermediate and Advanced.

Polocrosse is a team game played on horseback by two teams of 6 players. Each player carries a wooden stick with a net at the end. The polocrosse ball is carried and thrown between team members, who catch the ball using the net.
Polocrosse is a very exciting and enjoyable horse sport. Dinas Powys is one of the few branches in Wales to play polocrosse.
